Matregenix

USA

At Matregenix, we have always been fascinated by the potential of nanofibers and their ability to revolutionize a wide range of industries. From filtration to biomedical applications, we knew that the tiny fibers had the power to make a big impact. In 2018, we began our journey in Boston as a small company with a big vision -to design, develop, and manufacture highly tunable nanofibrous materials that could be customized to meet the specific needs of various applications. Our R&D efforts have led us to create a range of materials that can be used in a wide range of fields. We then expanded our manufacturing capabilities by relocating our operation to Irvine, California. But we didn't stop there. We realized that to truly unlock the potential of nanofibers, we needed to provide manufacturers with the tools and resources they needed to bring these innovations to life. That's why we began building state-of-the-art electrospinning machines and offering contract development and manufacturing services to help manufacturers turn their ideas into products. Today, Matregenix has grown into a leading provider of nanofibrous materials and electrospinning equipment. We have a strong reputation for our ability to customize our materials to meet the unique needs of our clients, and our contract development and manufacturing services have helped many companies bring their nanofiber innovations to market. We are proud of what we have accomplished, but we know that there is still so much more to be done. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible with nanofibers, and we are committed to continuing to innovate and evolve as a company. Join us on our journey to unlock the potential of nanofibers and make a big impact in various industries
CINBIO

Spain

CINBIO, Center for Research in Nanomaterials and Biomedicine, is a multidisciplinary research center whose main objective is to promote and improve the knowledge of life sciences around two major research areas, nanomaterials and biomedicine. The nanomaterials area focuses mainly on three research priorities: the study and application of optical and catalytic properties, magnetic and thermal properties, as well as transport properties in various nanomaterials and systems. As for the biomedicine area, three research priorities have been identified: biomarkers, advanced therapies and molecular basis. These allow us to identify new biomarkers, explore the molecular basis of diseases and design new therapies and treatments in which nanotechnology can be applied. CINBIO has a wide portfolio of patents in different fields for which we are looking for collaborations and possible licensees. You can check the portfolio of available patents at the center in our website and for more information about CINBIO commercialization process, send an email to: cinbio.techtransfer@uvigo.es In 2016, CINBIO was consolidated as an excellence center from University of Vigo, thanks to its proximity to the needs of society. Nowadays, CINBIO is made up of 15 research groups and nearly 200 people between management and research staff.
NANOVIA

France

Nanovia develops a premium range of composites, metal, and ceramic thermoplastic filaments for the additive manufacturing and plastic injection industries, as well as producing a range of consumables, all of which we distribute worldwide. Based in Brittany, France, Nanovia has been developing and tailoring our products with, and for, the aeronautical, naval, automobile, paramedical and defence industries since it’s inception in 2014.
Institut Régional des Matériaux Avancés (IRMA)

France

IRMA (Institut Régional des Matériaux Avancés) is a technical center created in 1990 and based in the Lorient basin in the heart of Sailing Valley. Irma offers high quality services in plastic and composite additive manufacturing in small series for aeronautics, yachting, packaging… More precisely, we design innovative plastic and composite materials, manufacture, and market complex parts with “custom” formulations at the request of our customers. We are specialized in 3D printing: parts in composite materials based on short fibers (FDM), long fibers (FDM assisted by extrusion) and continuous fibers (automated fiber placement: AFP). We perform mechanical, chemical, biological and other tests on demand.

Postdoc Single-Molecule Biophysics at 2D Material Interfaces
We are inviting applications for a postdoc position in bionanophotonics at TU Delft in the group of Dr Sabina Caneva. Single-molecule platforms based on 2D materials are emerging as novel tools for low-cost, high-resolution and high-throughput detection of biomolecule mechanics and dynamics. On one hand, they can enable important discoveries in biomolecular function at the single-molecule level and, on the other hand, they show great promise for applications in molecular diagnostics. In this interdisciplinary project you will combine cutting-edge nanofabrication techniques, 2D materials optoelectronics, and fluorescence imaging to innovate single-molecule detection platforms. You will have the opportunity to develop new fundamental insights into light-matter interactions at the nanoscale for application in next-generation protein fingerprinting. This position is funded by the ERC StG project SIMPHONICS. You will be based in the Precision and Microsystems Engineering Department at TU Delft, where you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, labs and equipment to develop this line of research in a vibrant and interdisciplinary team of physicists, materials scientists, engineers and biochemists.
